Brent moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia in 1988. He logged in the bush, fished lobsters and is currently employed as a miner at Canadian Salt Company. Brent is married with four adult children. He started painting watercolour in 1986 and mostly paints Canadian wildlife. He has a passion for conservation and enjoys being outdoors hunting, fishing and tending a trapline in winter. His paintings often depict humans in harmony with nature.
